Sewer Camera Inspections
See the problem before choosing the solution
We feed a sewer drain camera into the line so the inside of the pipe can be viewed and the source or location of the problem identified.

A look inside the drain line
A waterproof camera head on a flexible push cable travels through the drain while we watch the feed. It shows conditions along the line — buildup on the walls, standing water, an obstruction, root intrusion, or a section of pipe that doesn't look right.
The point is information. Instead of assuming what's causing the clog, we look, then recommend the drain cleaning approach that fits what we saw — and tell you plainly if what's in the line is outside drain cleaning.
Scope note: Rooter Troopers performs drain and sewer drain cleaning and inspection only. We do not perform pipe repair, replacement, or other plumbing work. If an inspection suggests repair is needed, that work goes to a licensed plumbing contractor.
When It Helps
Good reasons to inspect first
Recurring clogs
When the same drain blocks repeatedly, the camera helps show why it keeps returning.
Slow or backing-up drains
Locates where flow is restricted rather than guessing at the length of the line.
Suspected roots or damage
Helps identify intrusion, obstructions, or sections of pipe in poor condition.
Choosing the right cleaning
Buildup on the walls points one direction; a lodged object points another.
Verifying before proceeding
Confirms what's happening inside the line before any drain cleaning begins.
Schedule a camera inspection
Find out what's actually in the line before deciding how to clean it.
